Loss is a difficult but inevitable part of life. Every loss demands an appropriate response of grief. But, Paul says in 1 Thessalonians 4 that we grieve differently than non-believers. We grieve with hope. We can grieve with hope because Scripture tells us God comes near when we are facing the most difficult losses in our lives. It’s His presence that brings comfort and hope.
