Small{er} Groups

Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together… but encouraging one another. (Hebrews 10:24-25a)

God wants people to live and grow in community. At least 60% of adults who regularly attend Northwest Community Church also attend a small group.

Since building relationships is our priority, and the busy schedules of DC are our environment, we meet for one hour in groups of 3-5 people to share our lives, read the Bible, and pray together. By limiting the group size and turnover, deeper relationships develop.

It’s easy to form a new group because it only takes three people. Hosts text or call the group members once a week to get updates on individual prayer requests, and to remind the members to read the Bible passage before the meeting. Everyone tries to bring an insight or a question to share. The church provides the questions for the Bible study portion.

We currently have 17 groups, including two online groups. Please contact Katrina if you are interested in connecting with us!
